Curriculum Vitae

Sono nato ad Angera nel 1978. Laureatomi in Scienza dei Materiali presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca nel 2003, ho conseguito il Dottorato in Scienza dei Materiali presso lo stesso istituto nel 2006 col supporto della Fondazione Tronchetti Provera. Nel 2007 mi sono trasferito allo University College London e London Centre for Nanotechnology (UCL-LCN) grazie alla Fondazione Della Riccia e ad una fellowship Marie Curie. Nel 2010 mi sono trasferito al Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) negli Stati Uniti dove ho ricevuto la prestigiosa Los Alamos Director’s fellowship.

La mia ricerca punta all’ottenimento di conoscenze di carattere fondamentale ed applicativo per la realizzazione di nuovi materiali nanotecnologici per fotonica, energie rinnovabili e applicazioni biomediche.
