
The Italian Physical Society, in the frame of the International School of Physics “E. Fermi”, has organized a course on “Advances in Thermoelectricity: Foundational Issues, Materials, and Nanotechnology”, to be held In Varenna, July 15-20, 2019. The course, directed by Dario Narducci (Associate Professor in Physical Chemistry at the Department of Materials Science, University of Milano Bicocca) and Jeff Snyder (Northwestern University) with the scientific secretariat of Carlo Fanciulli (CNR-ICMATE), will gather in Varenna the world’s top experts on thermoelectricity. The course will be then a unique opportunity for PhD students and Postdocs to learn about the progresses of research in this exciting field of materials science. Furthermore, since the “E. Fermi” School is residential, students will have the additional prospect of informal exchanges of experiences and competences with lecturers.
