How do researchers create innovation?

In this 2-day meeting participants will learn how to contribute to innovation covering a large variety of roles in the value chain. The meeting is organized as a series of parallel sessions with fireside chats and panel discussions, and hands-on workshops where attendees will learn about the most novel approaches to innovation, such as the Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking, UX Testing, and Technology Screening.
Attendees of this meeting are people from research, start-up, not-for-profit, and corporate environments, who want to learn more about innovation and how researchers and innovators can synergistically and successfully work together.
Carlo Antonini, tenure-track researcher of the Department of Materials Science, Rita Levi Montalcini Fellow, and scientific advisor of the startup ApiTech, is one of the event organizers and will be a speaker in the session “Transfer of Cooperation between Science and Business”.
