2024 MCAA Annual Conference and General Assembly

Description: The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA, https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/) Annual Conference and General Assembly in 2024 will take place in Milano-Bicocca, starting with satellite events on March 14th, followed by the conference on March 15th and 16th. The event is a unique appointment to bring together researchers, policymakers, and industry. Bicocca will host more than 300 young fellows (or alumni) of the prestigious Marie Curie grant to discuss about research, policy and professional development, focusing on this year's theme: "10 years of MCAA: past, present and future".

"The event never took place in Italy before" commented Carlo Antonini and Vanira Trifiletti, researchers at the Department of Materials Science, involved as volunteers and host for the event. "It's exciting, and a great honor, to host so many excellent young scientists and EU commission representatives to discuss about challenges and opportunities in science for these three intense days".

The Annual conference will be opened by the Rector of Milano-Bicocca, Giovanna Iannantuoni, who has strongly supported the organizing committee since the initial stages.
