The School is focused on the theme of "Raw Materials in Photovoltaics", is open to Post-doc, PhD and Master's degree students, and its first edition will take place at the University of Milano-Bicocca from 8 to 13 September 2024.
Central themes of the school are raw materials, from use to recycling, involved in all the parts that make up a photovoltaic system, from cells, to panels, to control and energy conversion electronics, to storage systems, to entire balance-of-system.
Researchers coming from the world of academia, from centers of great international prestige and from leading industries in the sector will contribute, with hands-on lessons, to the training of experts capable of supporting the research and industrialization of photovoltaic systems taking into consideration the central theme of the use and reuse of raw materials.
By actively participating in the course, which will only be held in person, the PhD student will acquire 2 ECTS credits.

The number of places available is limited to 70, so interested students must proceed with their registration as soon as possible, in any case no later than July 31, 2024.
The registration fee is particularly low, equal to 150 € + VAT before June 15, 2024 and 220 € + VAT by July 31, 2024. Upon checking the dedicated option in the registration form, this amount includes the accommodation in Milan for 5 nights (Sunday to Friday morning) in a 3/4 beds apartment.
