Carlo Santoro elected as Chair Elect of Division 2 of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE)

Division 2 - Bioelectrochemistry division

Carlo Santoro, assistant professor at the Department of Materials Science of the University of Milano-Bicocca, has been elected as Chair Elect of Division 2 (Bioelectrochemistry) of the most important Electrochemistry society in the world, the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE) which counts about 4500 subscribers. He is the youngest ever to hold this role in Division 2. The role is for a term of 6 years (2023-2028), Chair Elect (2023-2024), Chair (2025-2026) and Past Chair (2027-2028) ). The role includes decision-making with the Board, active organization of conferences (1 Annual Meeting and two Topical Meetings per year), interaction and support with Division members, management of Division funds in supporting events related to the bioelectrochemistry and the management of the annual awards of Bioelectrochemistry.
