The Department of Materials Science independently manages a series of laboratories under the direct supervision of professors belonging to the Department. These departmental laboratories represent the heart of the scientific activities of the Department. Furthermore, following its natural vocation to interdisciplinarity, the Department participates in the management of laboratories shared with other departments of the University of Milan-Bicocca (interdepartmental laboratories). Finally, confirming the strong interconnection with the academic and productive world outside the University, the Department has developed a series of agreements for the creation of joint laboratories with other Italian and foreign institutions.
